Abstract

Investment means benefit for future purpose. Investment is done to earn income from investment and to secure future. Investment helps in increasing and improving productivity of the economy. It is one of the great ways through which an economy and family can achieve growth and secure future. There are various investment avenues for investment -such as Bank deposit, Mutual Funds, Post office schemes, real estate, life insurance, equity shares, debentures, non-marketable securities and money market instruments. This research is based on the working women's perception towards investment decision by considering five demographic factors (Age, Education, Occupation, Income, Marital Status). Took a convenient sampling technique for collecting samples. The sample size taken was 75 working women of Navi Mumbai area. The statistical tool used were percentage analysis and Chi Square test with the help of excel. The result revealed that all factors do affect the investment decision......
