Abstract

The research paper focuses on the application of artificial intelligence in HRM in India's IT industry. Organisational readiness, employees' acceptance, technical issues, and the effect of AI on the productivity of HR operations will be investigated. The research is conducted using a quantitative survey method, and primary data are gathered from 200 individuals employed in Indian IT companies. Descriptive analysis and the Pearson correlation technique have been used to assess patterns and relationships between the variables. According to the results, employees considers the application and usability of artificial intelligence in Human Resource practices. In turn, management support and organisational fit are moderate. The majority of respondents reported a positive effect of AI on recruitment, performance management, administrative efficiency, and employee engagement. Still, many participants in the study stated that they had neutral opinions about further implementation and the productivity of HR operations. Very strong positive correlations were established between AI recruitment effectiveness, employee engagement, performance effectiveness, and HR productivity. Besides, significant positive relationships were found for administrative efficiency and the main AI effectiveness variables. The effectiveness of AI learning showed a weak correlation, implying that there was less to the organisation than some other AI applications. The results show that AI can be helpful in enhancing HR practices and productivity in organisations, provided that there is an appropriate strategy, technical skill, and integration of the system. It is important for organisations to develop training programs for employees, build infrastructure, ensure leadership support, and implement change management to maximise the use of AI in organisations
