Mental health disorders frequently emerge during adolescence and contribute significantly to the global disease burden. In India, challenges such as stigma, lack of awareness, and limited access to services hinder effective mental health care. This study adopts a systematic review approach guided by PRISMA to examine the role of educational institutions in promoting mental health among adolescents. Findings indicate that school-based interventions, particularly life skills and resilience programs, improve psychological well-being and academic outcomes. However, implementation gaps and lack of integration remain key challenges. The study emphasizes the need for structured and scalable mental health frameworks within the Indian education system (Page et al., 2021; Mehra, 2022)
