Technology has always been a driving force behind the growth of human being. The rapid urbanization is the result of fast technological developments, infrastructural developments and government policies in India. Urban development is experiencing a significant transformation, It is getting strengthened by digital technologies such as IoT enabled networks, intelligent mobility solutions and data-driven planning etc. These technology enablers might be integrated with urban ecological designs, development and expansion of renewable energy solutions to promote overall preservation of environment. Still, we see challenges in terms of quality of ecological lives, people of many urban areas have been facing in terms of congestion and pollution. Hence, this case-based study is an attempt to show how cities may use integrated transportation, smart grids, and adaptive building systems to improve quality of life and lessen their environmental impact. This study highlights the necessity, principles and practice of an effective approach. that incorporates ecological stewardship and technological innovation and underlines that how the cities, which are following the principles and practice of developing smart cities with maintaining the sustainability.
