Abstract

This article uses a bibliometric study of the Scopus database to find the research fields with the most research output, as well as the nations and languages. The analysis, which was done between 2020 and 2025, included 1038 articles by writers from journals that publish the most research, as well as twenty-five of the most prolific authors with social entrepreneurship writings. Furthermore, this work received attention in academia, notably at the University of Toronto, Indiana University Bloomington, and the University of Johannesburg. Thus, the purpose of this study is to help new social entrepreneurship academics decide which publications and authors to contact while researching this topic. The analysis also identifies some of the most prolific researchers in the field of social entrepreneurship. This demonstrates a significant contribution in terms of the quantity of research conducted by those people to further understanding about social entrepreneurship
